Sleep Test Plus is a one night assessment from the comfort of your own home. You don’t need to leave your house, and you don’t require a referral from a GP or consultant. You’re literally a click away from ordering your sleep test.
The sleep test is called WatchPat One multi-channel test and is an assessment for patients with suspected OSA (obstructive sleep apnoea). Patients may present symptoms including snoring, witnessed pauses in the breathing, restless sleep, morning headaches, and daytime sleepiness.
Once your booking has been confirmed, your equipment will be posted via Royal Mail Special Delivery with written instructions, a video link, and three short questionnaires emailed to you. These questionnaires will provide useful clinical information for the sleep physiologist.
Following your successful test, your sleep results will be uploaded to Sleep Medical the following morning. A detailed sleep report will be emailed directly to you within 7 days which can then be sent directly to your GP and/or local respiratory/sleep service for onward treatment if required.
